Direct answer:
Seller-to-JChere delivery is charged by the seller or domestic carrier. The rates below apply to eligible JChere warehouse-to-Japan-address or hotel delivery and are a separate charge.
Two types of Japan domestic shipping
| Shipping leg | Who sets the charge | Common cases |
|---|---|---|
| Japanese seller → JChere warehouse | Seller or domestic carrier | Free shipping, checkout charge, cash on delivery or split shipments; different sellers are usually charged separately. |
| JChere warehouse → Japan address or hotel | JChere using the rates below | ¥1,200 handling per package plus the size-based rate. |
Consolidation can change packing and later shipping, but it cannot remove domestic delivery already charged by the seller.
Rates from JChere warehouse to a Japan address

Common Japanese shopping scenarios
- Free shipping on Amazon, Rakuten and similar sites depends on the seller, item and order value.
- Mercari and Yahoo Auctions listings may be seller-paid or buyer-paid; check the listing.
- Cash-on-delivery parcels may generate item, handling or domestic shipping charges at receipt.
- If a seller splits one order into several parcels, domestic delivery may be charged separately.
