• Package consolidation is supported. If the consolidated parcel exceeds the limits, the warehouse follows the packing-to-meet-the-limits process explained below on this page.
• Uses air transport.
• Uses self-declaration and simplified clearance, generally similar to postal EMS declaration.

2Shipping time

Estimated transit is 5–15 days after dispatch from the JChere warehouse.

Flights, inspections, customs, local delivery, weather and unexpected events may affect actual timing.

3Shipping limits

• Each final outbound parcel must not exceed 2 kg.
• The longest side must not exceed 60 cm.
• Length, width and height combined must not exceed 90 cm.

Weight and dimensions are based on the final parcel after warehouse packing.

4When limits are exceeded: automatic warehouse packing to meet the limits

For orders exceeding the shipping limits, whether a single item or a consolidated parcel, the warehouse uses the following packing methods so the outbound parcel fits the Japan Express limits:

1. Split-box packing
   During split-box packing, items are automatically divided approximately evenly, mainly according to parcel weight and volume.
   Split-box packing is handled automatically by the warehouse; do not add too many inbound parcels to one forwarding order.
2. Replace the outer box and repack to meet Japan Express limits
   Consolidated orders must select the outer-package-box removal service. The warehouse removes the item's original outer box and repacks it, according to item condition, into a box that meets the 2 kg, 60 cm longest-side and 90 cm combined-dimension limits.

• Additional boxes cost JPY 300 each, including boxes used for splitting.
• The final number of outbound parcels may increase.
• Items with complete or fine packaging, or sets, are not split into separate boxes.
• To meet shipping limits, warehouse packing may adjust some optional services selected in the original order.
• If the methods above are ineffective, including when splitting is ineffective for part of the parcel, parcels that cannot use Japan Express are automatically changed to EMS first. Compare other shipping methods

5How to use

• When creating a forwarding order, select Japan Express from the available shipping methods.
• Availability depends on destination, item category, final weight, final dimensions and current route status.
