Shipping Japanese Headphones and True-Wireless Earbuds
Before buying Japanese wired, Bluetooth or true-wireless headphones, check left, right and case battery count, Wh, installation, magnets, packing and route.
Start here
Small size makes battery count easy to underestimate. A true-wireless retail set may represent several battery-powered devices to a carrier. First separate passive wired, USB or amplified, rechargeable wired, Bluetooth over-ear and TWS products.
Check JChere's current restrictions and special routes first
Wired and wireless have different attributes
A passive wired headphone usually has no lithium battery, while active noise cancellation, Bluetooth or a portable amplifier module may. TWS earbuds and case, a USB transmitter, wireless microphone or spare case can each have a battery.
- Use the manual and box contents to identify every rechargeable component.
- If shipping only cable, adapter or ear pads, state that no battery is present.
- Do not mix a spare case, power bank or replacement battery into the main-set decision.
Battery count and postal conditions
Japan Post's overview limits cells or assembled batteries installed in equipment and requires an eligible destination. The carrier must decide how to count a three-component TWS set; do not count the retail package as one.
- Provide specifications for each earbud and case, not only total listening time.
- When ordinary count is exceeded, consider split cartons or a current battery route.
- A loose or removed battery is not equivalent to one installed in equipment.
Power-off, short-circuit control and protection
Power off and prevent touch or button activation, keep charging contacts from shorting, and protect cups, headband, hinges, nozzles and expensive drivers from load. A factory case normally helps restraint.
- Do not ship damaged, swollen, odorous, overheating or recalled products.
- Return TWS earbuds to their correct case positions and prevent the lid opening.
- Keep serial, cable and driver-condition images for valuable in-ear monitors.
Wireless region, warranty and hygiene
Japanese-model wireless approval, voice features, app region and warranty can differ. For used in-ear products, check tips, contamination, moisture and battery ageing before purchase.
- Check app support, codecs, voice assistant and charging input.
- For used items, require cleaning, accessory list, battery runtime and channel test.
- Declare wired or wireless headphones, quantity and transaction value accurately.
