1. Manage the order by release date, not order date
A pre-order may be placed and paid for long before release. The timeline that matters is manufacturer release, store stock receipt, seller dispatch, domestic delivery and warehouse check-in. Release dates can change, so keep the order page and store notices.
- Separate the estimated release, dispatch and delivery dates.
- Different editions, store bonuses and reprints can have different schedules.
- When delayed, review the cancellation terms instead of assuming cancellation is always available.
2. Confirm whether the store ships together or separately
Several items in one order are not necessarily packed together. Different release months, inventory locations, in-stock and pre-order combinations, sellers or dimensions can create split shipments. Some stores instead hold everything until all items are ready.
- Review the store rules for combined shipping, split shipping and pre-orders before checkout.
- Each dispatch may create a separate domestic shipping fee and tracking number.
- Do not infer the number of JChere parcels only from the number of products in the order.
3. Calculate storage before waiting for consolidation
An early parcel continues to use storage while waiting for a later pre-order. JChere regular members have a defined free-storage period, followed by applicable fees and a maximum holding limit. A packed parcel also has a payment and dispatch deadline.
- Count storage separately from the actual check-in date of each parcel.
- Pre-orders months apart are generally unsuitable for indefinite consolidation waiting.
- Compare extra storage fees, consolidation savings, item risk and waiting time.
4. Add a buffer before the final delivery deadline
After arrival, the parcel still needs check-in, forwarding-order creation, consolidation and packing, payment, international transport, customs and final delivery. Published transit times are not guaranteed arrival dates; peak periods, weather, flight availability and customs inspections can add delays.
- When a hard deadline matters, consider shipping items that are already complete.
- Keep order, payment and release records for valuable or limited products.
- If the destination address may change months later, verify it again before international dispatch.
